MWM leaders visit rain-hit areas of Karachi to help affected people
Karachi-based leaders of Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen visited the rain-affected areas of Karachi and led efforts to help the affected people of Amroha Society, Saadi Town and Kashmiri Mohallah Gulbahar.
Ali Hussain Naqvi, Allama Mubashir and Mir Taqi Zafar visited these areas. They lamented that Sindh Government and Karachi Mayor were engaged in war of words instead of making coordinated efforts to rid people of rain-related problems. Samar Zaidi and Fakhar Abbas Kashmiri briefed Ali Hussain Naqvi on the latest situation in Kashmiri Mohallah.
They said that Saadi Town and Amroha Society were flooded with rainwater and situation of Kashmiri Mohallah Gulbahar and adjoining areas also wore similar look. They said people of these areas also need immediate help and attention of the relevant departments and higher officials.
MWM District Central also adopted practical measures and it arranged the cleanliness drive and cleared the roads buy removal of accumulated rainwater.
Khairul Amal Foundation of the MWM played its role by sending relief goods to the affected people.
