Allama Sajid Naqvi says peace and sanity becomes a dream for people

sajid naqvi visit gilgitAllama Sajid Naqvi, chief of Shia Ulema Council, has said that three terrorist attacks in Peshawar alone in a week have shattered the hopes and confidence of people.
“The security forces have lost trust of people due to their failure in countering terrorism and foiling terrorist attacks,” he said in reaction to the terror attack in Qissa Khwani Bazaar Peshawar, capital of Pakistan’s Khyber-Pukhtoonkhwa Province.

The head of known Shia party condemned the terrorists and said that Pakistan and Pakistanis long for peace and rule of law and sanity.

“The word peace and rule of law have become misnomers and in practice terrorists rule and impose their will on all Pakistanis and they hit at will,” he said.

Allama Naqvi lambasted the security forces saying that why they failed to break the network of the terrorists. He said that peace and law and order could not be restored due to absence of counterterrorism policy.

Allama Ramzan Tauqeer, president of the SUC, KPK province, said that hospitals and roads could not be understood as alternate to peace. He said that terrorists may destroy roads and hospitals anytime they want therefore government needs to begin action forthwith to save the lives of Pakistanis.
