Majlis-e-Wahdate Muslameen (MWM) Pakistan on Thursday announced to hold the countrywide protest on 23rd April against the genocide of Shia Muslims in Pakistan. According to the Shiite News Correspondent, Â MWM Leaders Maulana Munawar Naqvi, Maulana Sajjad Karbalai and Syed Ali Ousat in a joint press conference held here at Imam Bargha Ali Reza karachi, denounced the killing of Shia community in the various parts of the country including Quetta, Kohat, Karachi and Kurram Agency. They alleged that the Government was failed to protect the Shia community of the country from the terrorists as the thousands of people belongs to the community were killed by the terrorists in Quetta, Kurram Agency, Kohat, Karachi and other parts of the country. MWM leaders demanded of the President Asif Ali Zardari, Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani and Army Chief General Ashfaq Pervez Kiyani to take concrete steps to stop the target killing of Shia Muslims in Quetta, which are being continued from the last five years but Provincial government has not arrested a single terrorists involved in the target killing and bomb blast incidents. They asked the Government to immediately initiate the Army operation in Quetta, Kurram Agency and Kohat to eliminate the terroristâ€™s from these areas saying that these terrorists wanted to destabilize the Pakistan for their evil interest. They alleged that the some officialâ€™s in the Sindh Government are supported the outlawed organizations in the Sindh Province and Karachi and urged the Government to immediately take action against the activities of the outlawed organizations in the metropolis and Sindh province. Majlis-e-Wahdat leaders regretted the government negligence to provide the compensation amount to the martyrs and injured of Aashura and Arbaeen bomb blasts incidents in Karachi and demanded of the Government to immediately provide the compensation amount to the victims of Karachi bomb blast incidents.
