The outlawed Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) claimed responsibility Of the killing of the retired Shia major Ahsan Raza of the Pakistan Army in Karachi.
Major (r) Ahsan Raza was shot dead in Karachi’s Defence Housing Authority (DHA) neighbourhood on Saturday by Taliban and ASWJ ( AhleSunnat Wal Jamaat ) terrorists.
Sindh Police was trying to give the color of snatching to divert the incident of sectarian killing incident but later Notorious Takfiri Outfit Taliban claimed the responsibility of the incident endorsed the Shiite News claim that incident was an act of Shia Genocide. Earlier , AIG Karachi Mushtaq Ahmed Mahar had earlier told Media that police is probing whether the incident was an act of targeted or sectarian killing. Later, the militant group in a statement to journalists claimed responsibility for the shooting.
According to police sources, unidentified men riding a motorbike shot dead Raza in DHA’s Phase-I. The body of the deceased was shifted to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC).
