Government’s malevolence behind not extending Rangers’ powers: Allama Nazir Abbas Taqvi
President of Shia Ulema Council Allama Syed Nazir Abbas Taqvi declared it government of Sindh’s malevolence not to extend Rangers’ powers and said “Karachi’s current situation is satisfactory. The city where 20 to 25 people used to get killed in a day it is only because of Rangers’ actions and powers that terrorism is under control in the city”. He also announced support to decisions taken in the NAP’s meeting at Governor House Karachi and also expressed hope that the provincial government would soon resolve the issue regarding Rangers’ powers and would increase the area of the ongoing operation against terrorism to the entire province in order to exterminate all the terrorists who have taken refuge in different areas of Sindh and to completely eradicate terrorism.
Allama Nazir Abbas Taqvi further said “we hope that the pace of the operation against terrorists in interior Sindh will be increased and culprits of Shikarpur and Jacobabad incidents will be arrested and punished and action will also be taken against their facilitators and financial supporters”.
