Iranian Foreign Minister and Pakistani Army Chief Hold Phone Call, Discuss Regional Situation

Shiite News: Iranian Foreign Minister Seyyed Abbas Araghchi and Pakistan’s Army Chief, Field Marshal Asim Munir, held an important telephone conversation. During the call, the two leaders reviewed the latest developments in the region and discussed in detail the impact of rising tensions on regional peace and stability.

During the talks, both sides placed particular emphasis on the need for vigilance, communication and coordination among countries in the region in view of the current sensitive circumstances.

The Iranian foreign minister and the Pakistani army chief also agreed that the two brotherly countries should make full use of their shared capabilities and available resources to help establish lasting peace and security in the region.
