Muharram Teaches Brotherhood, Love and Unity, Say Prominent Shia and Sunni Scholars of Balochistan

Shiite News: Prominent Shia and Sunni religious scholars of Balochistan, including Allama Syed Hashim Mousavi, Dr. Ata-ur-Rehman, Maulana Habibullah Shah Chishti, Qari Abdul Rehman Noorzai, Allama Ali Hasnain Hussaini, and President of the Balochistan Shia Conference, Ashiq Hussain, stated that the month of Muharram teaches lessons of brotherhood, love, unity, and sacrifice.

They emphasized that practical measures should be taken to eliminate hatred and resentment from society so that people can live together with mutual respect, tolerance, and harmony.

The scholars noted that hostile forces have historically sought to achieve their objectives by sowing division and hatred among Muslims. They said that religious leaders have consistently played a constructive role in preserving Islamic values and promoting unity among different communities.

They further stated that Muharram reminds Muslims of the eternal sacrifice of Imam Hussain as, whose martyrdom serves as a lesson in patience, perseverance, tolerance, brotherhood, and solidarity. They urged Muslims to remain united and work collectively to thwart the designs of those seeking to create discord and division.
