The event was jointly hosted by Charge Wilayat and Muhammad Ibrahim Azad. Renowned researcher, historian, and author of several books, Hassan Hasrat, while addressing the gathering, said that supporting those who resist oppression is our religious, moral, and humanitarian duty. He stated that if we ourselves are unable to stop oppressors, we should at least become supporters and companions of those freedom fighters and resistance activists who stand firmly against injustice.

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf leader and former minister Raja Zakaria Khan Maqpoon said that former Prime Minister Imran Khan practically demonstrated his special attachment to Gilgit-Baltistan by announcing a development package worth 370 billion rupees, resulting in the completion of numerous development projects in the region.

Former opposition leader and candidate for Skardu Constituency No. 2, Muhammad Kazim Meesam, said that the path of their movement does not lead to the impurities of power or the doorstep of “oppressor Trump”; rather, their movement draws inspiration from Karbala, which eternally teaches truth, honor, freedom, and support for the oppressed.

Renowned journalist Harmeet Singh said that the path of free-thinking individuals who call oppressors by their true name is difficult, but it is the same path that grants honor before one’s conscience and before God. He added that the Islamic Republic of Iran, through steadfastness and resistance, has shattered the arrogance of global powers.

Famous anchorperson and journalist Azhar Barlas recited a verse by Baltistan’s son Syed Sarbaz:
“Lahu se shama jalayi hai roshni ke liye,
Hussain ne maut se khela hai zindagi ke liye.”

He said that this poetry reflects both the philosophy of martyrdom and the renewal of commitment.

The seminar was also addressed by religious scholar Maulana Musharraf Hussain Jafri, who had arrived from London, MWM Pakistan Chief Organizer Syed Nasir Abbas Shirazi, and prominent scholar Allama Agha Mazhar Mousavi. The speakers said that certain elements attempted to create confrontation against the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Axis of Resistance, but they failed in their efforts.

At the conclusion of the seminar, special prayers were offered for the elevation of the martyrs’ ranks, the security of Pakistan, unity of the Muslim Ummah, and oppressed people around the world, especially the Muslims of Palestine. On this occasion, Molvi Ghulam Raza Hashmi, Mudassar Abbas, and Ajmal Zakari presented poetic tributes in honor of the martyrs.
