Participant of Labaik Ya Rasool Allah rally Syed Raza Taqvi martyred in Karachi

It’s pertaining to mention here that the Pakistani police opened the strait fire on the participants of peaceful rally of Majlis-e-Wehdat Muslimeen (MWM) and Imamia Students Organization (ISO) in Karachi on Sunday held against the blasphemous movie outside the US Consulate Karachi.

Syed Raza Taqvi and eight others were injured in the firing of Police and American Consulate security personnel. Syed Raza Taqvi was clinically death declared by the Doctors but he was in intensive care unit of the local hospital in Karachi. He was an activist of Majlis-e-Wehdat Muslimeen Karachi.
Eye Witnesses said that he was gunned down by the personal of Sindh Police in front of US Karachi, when thousands of faithful of the great prophet Muhammad (PBUH) crossed all security barricades and reached the US Consulate for registering their protest against the anti-Islam film; the protestors pulled down the US flag and hoisted flag of Labaik Ya Rasool Allah at the consulate on Sunday.

Shaheed Syed Raza Taqvi, 48, son of Abul Qasim Taqvi left five children and widow.

Majlis-e-Wehdat Muslimeen (MWM) and Imamia Students Organization (ISO) have announced the countrywide demonstration on Monday (today) against the Police attack on participants of Anti-US rally and US blasphemous movie.

They demanded of the registration of FIR against the Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Mushtaq Mehar, who ordered the Police to open strait fire on marchers.
