Sit in protest against enforced disappearance continues on 15th day today (Friday).
Families of the victims have been holding sit-in outside mausoleum of founder of Pakistan Mohammad Ali Jinnah since April 02.
The main committee’s leader Allama Ahmed Iqbal has said that the families have already fighting a legal battle through courts of law to seek end to unconstitutional and illegal enforced disappearance.
He further said that if any harm is done to protesters, then the government would be held responsible for everything.
He said that the families and the committee had ran from pillar to post to seek justice.
The committee leader said that they contacted the top authorities of state and government of Pakistan.
But the authorities have failed in bringing an end to this unconstitutional and unlawful undeclared incarceration.
Meanwhile, Allama Sajid Naqvi demanded release innocent victims of enforced disappearance and trial of those accused of any crime.
Shia Ulema Council Pakistan’s founder leader also urged the authorities concerned to comply with legal proceedings instead of unconstitutional and unlawful methods.
