IS Daesh Khorasan LeJ terrorist plot foiled in Balochistan where counterterrorism department gunned down four terrorists a gang-cell of aforesaid terrorist group in Bolan.
The Daesh Lashkar-e-Jhangvi (ASWJ)’s Akram Zehri-led cell was planning terrorist attacks. All of them worked for LeJ/DAESH.

According to the CTD Balochistan, they conducted an intelligence-based operation in Ab-e-Gum area of District Bolan.
They also seized arms and explosives there. Details to come next.
The CTD Balochistan had long been pursuing this particular cell of self-claimed Daesh (ISIS) Khorasan Pakistan chapter (ISKP).
Aforesaid cell of the Daesh Lashkar-e-Jhangvi terrorists was planning attacks on strategic locations in Quetta.
While acting on actionable intelligence, the CTD team raided the hideout and challenged the terrorists to surrender.
According to the CTD spokesman, the terrorists instead attacked the LEA team with indiscriminate firing that evoked retaliation.

Four terrorists lost lives killed but three escaped in the mountainous area.
Among them Akram Zehri named as one of the proclaimed offenders described in the Interior Ministry’s Red Book.
Moreover, CTD identified Akram Zehri a proclaimed offender with head money. He also carried Rs5 million head money.
Meanwhile, the cops also seized as many as five kgs of explosives to prepare IEDs, remote controls and detonators with Alpha Fire System.
The Alpha Fire System remain as another lethal device of the terrorists: essentially a charge for IED which can detonate several IEDS, all at once with a remote click.
Besides, the cops seized an SMG rifle, three pistols and two motorcycles.

Moreover, the CTD identified the three others as Ahmadullah, Sikandar and Shadi Khan. All of them worked for LeJ/DAESH.
The LEJ terrorists have since long been working with Daesh and other terrorist organisations such as TTP.
Some handled from camps in Afghanistan.
The CTD spokesman further said the cell was planning to launch major attacks against sensitive installations in Quetta.
Documents included maps which confirmed the terrorist plans.
Furthermore, counter terrorism force also managed to lay hands on “more information about the other terrorists of the cell, their sleepers and facilitators.”
The CTD is conducting raids, besides investigation, against the other suspected members of the Zehri-led Daesh Lashkar-e-Jhangvi network.
Meanwhile, CTD Balochistan has registered an FIR regarding the Bolan operation.
