Kot Addu-based senior Shia Islamic scholar Maulana Baqir Naqvi, chairman Azadari Council Syed Sajjad Hussain Kazmi and MWM’s Tahir Khursheed addressed a joint press conference.

They condemned unconstitutional and unlawful detention of patriot Shia citizens of Pakistan.
They demanded release of all such victims of enforced disappearance immediately.
Otherwise, aforesaid leaders of Joint Action Committee for Shia Missing Persons said they would have to expand sit-in protest across the country.
Furthermore, they said as many as 136 Shia Muslims fell victims to enforced disappearance.
The Shia leaders lamented that the captors violate their constitutional rights.

They further said that if they have any case against these detainees, they should produce them in courts of law. Lest, they should release them.
Meanwhile, families of Shia missing persons have been protesting at the sit-in camp outside mausoleum of founder of Pakistan Quaid-e-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah since Friday April 02.
On Friday, supporters of the committee held protest rallies and demonstrations from Karachi to Skardu.
They demanded immediate release of all patriot Shias who have been subjected to enforced disappearance anywhere in Pakistan.
Meanwhile, main sit-in protest against enforced disappearance of innocent Shia Muslim citizens of Pakistan entered 8th day om Friday.
