Gilgit Baltistan CM announces Mohammad Ali Sadpara Institute and aid for the family of deceased mountaineer.
Chief Minister Gilgit Baltistan Khalid Khurshid Khan made this announcement on Tuesday.

He announced Rs 3 million for widow of the mountaineer Mohammad Ali Sadpara
Furthermore, he announced establishment of Mohammad Ali Sadpara Institute for Adventure Sports, Mountaineering and Rock Climbing.
He also announced ensuring training of mountaineer Sajid Ali Sadpara, son of Mohammad Ali Sadpara according to international standards.
After that, the government would ensure that he would provide training to aspiring climbers in the Sadpara institute.
The GB CM announced these measures to honour the globally known mountaineer M Ali Sadpara posthumously.
During a cabinet meeting, CM Khan paid tribute to Mohammad Ali Sadpara.
He further said that the mountaineer had earned recognition for Pakistan across the world.
He noted that the mountaineer chose the profession despite limited resources and dangers.
Khalid Khurshid vowed that Pakistan and especially GB people would remember services of Mohammad Ali Sadpara forever.
Moreover, he paid tribute to all those unsung heroes who made GB proud with their achievements despite limited resources.
CM Khan also announced to chalk out policies to promote the sport of mountain climbing besides protection and assistance of mountaineers.
Meanwhile, the GB cabinet also agreed to nominate Mohammad Ali Sadpara for the civil award.
A cabinet committee comprising Finance Minister Javed Ali Manwa, Law Adviser Sohail Abbas and Adviser to GB Food Department Shams Lone will pay a visit to the Sadpara family.
They would formally extend their condolences to the family.
Moreover, the GB CM himself will also visit the mountaineer’s house and extend his condolences to the family.
