Allama Nazir Taqvi rejects Sindh govt notification about FIRs withdrawal.

Shia Ulema Council has launched a protest long march from Sukkur on Sunday.

They have reached Hyderabad on Monday but Sindh government reportedly ordered to halt them at Hyderabad Toll Plaza.

In the meantime, Sindh government had issued notification to show they have accepted demands of the protesters.

However, organizers of the long march said they would continue their protest march until formal notification.

After having seen the notification’s content, the SUC Sindh chapter president Allama Nazir rejected the notification on technical ground.

According to reports, Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah gave assurance to the protesting leaders.

However, notification issued regarding Coronavirus related cases.

But Shia Ulema Council is protesting registration of false case against Shia mourners for their participation in Chehlum/Arbaeen azadari.

Moreover, they also rejected putting Shia Islamic parties’ leaders in the fourth schedule of anti-terrorism act.

Therefore, they demanded nullifying of all such cases immediately.

Till the filing of this report late Monday night, the controversy remains unresolved.

If the SUC agree and if the Sindh government amends the notification, SUC will culminate protest long march at Wadi-e-Hussain graveyard.

Otherwise, the situation will remain predictable.
