Two takfiri TTP militants killed in Karachi shootout
At least two takfiri militants belonging to banned terrorist outfit Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) were killed overnight in Karachi’s area of Surjani Town, electronic media reported on Wednesday.
According to the report, police personnel intercepted 4 people riding two motorbikes in Surjani Town. Motorcyclists defied police orders and began firing upon police in a bid to flee. The shootout ensued as police also retaliated.
Two of the takfiri terrorists were killed in the exchange of gunfire. The other two managed to flee the scene, according to the police sources.
Police said they recovered weapons and ammunition from the custody of the saboteurs. Police sources added the terrorists hailed from the banned Taliban.
