Sindh High Court hears case of enforced disappearance of Ali Mehdi.
The Shia family of the victim of enforced disappearance have been running from pillar to post to seek safe return of Ali Mehdi.

Besides, many other families have also been doing so and they too attended the hearing.
The Sindh High Court bench comprised of Justice Naimatullah Phalpoto and Justice Abdul Mubin Lakho heard their plea.
Meanwhile, the SHC also sought report from the federal secretaries of interior and defence in this regard.
Besides, the court also ordered Home Department Sindh to summon JIT meeting to review this issue.

Furthermore, it directed IG Sindh Police to take steps for release of Umar Farooq Ahsan and other missing persons.
Sindh High Court asked IGP Sindh to review the latest situation.
Meanwhile, the court expressed its dismay over enforced disappearance.
Furthermore, it sought report from the authorities concerned what they did and what progress made so far in this regard.
Now, SHC will hear this case on February 11, 2021.
