Deputy Speaker NA welcomes opening of Rimdan Gabd border crossing between Pakistan and Iran.

The Deputy Speaker of Pakistan’s National Assembly welcomed the opening of second cross-border gateway.

Qasim Khan Suri said that Rimdan-Gabd crossing would strengthen trade between the two neighboring states.

In an exclusive interview, he said that the new Rimdan-Gabd border gateway would pave the way for strengthening bilateral trade, especially the legalization of commercial activities.

Quetta-based politician said that residents of the two border provinces would benefit the most from inauguration of the second official cross-border gateway between Iran and Pakistan.

Furthermore, he said that increasing the border crossings between the two neighboring countries, besides strengthening and managing joint trade, will also help a lot in combating the menaces of smuggling.

The deputy speaker highlighted current government remains determined to strengthen border cooperation with Iran by facilitating trade and development of border markets.

Moreover, Qasim Suri said that the long border of Iran and Pakistan show deep and close friendship between the two neighboring countries.

He said it persuades them both of them to take steps to strengthen interactions, especially to increase public relations.
