Forced conversion of Shia youth to Tehreek Labbaik questions State writ in Mansehra district of Pakistan’s Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.

Video of the use of force in the presence of a police officer has gone viral on social media.

Forced conversion of Shia youth to Tehreek Labbaik

It showed a Shia Muslim mourner clad in black was made to stand like a culprit.

A police officer (Inspector/DSP) and some clerics were sitting there. One person dictated him to emulate him and renew his allegiance as per what the persons said.

The person dictated the Shia youth to say Shias are infidels. Others nodded and the persons also forced Shia youth to use offensive remarks also against Imam Khomeini.

Tehreek Labbaik Pakistan had earlier accused a Christian woman worker of blasphemy but court had acquitted and released her.

Prior to that, Tehreek Labbaik had defended one Mumtaz Qadri who had assassinated the Sunni Governor Salman Taseer of Punjab.

Now, they have joined hands with outlawed Sipah Sahaba under Saudi monarchy’s plot. Under that conspiracy they launched a campaign against Shia Muslims.

Violation of constitutionally-guaranteed rights of Shia Muslim citizens of Pakistan

On the one hand, fanatic of Tehreek Labbaik and outlawed Sipah Sahaba (ASWJ-Lashkar Jhangvi) Ludhianvi group have launched pogrom against Shia Muslims across Pakistan.

And on the other, State authorities have launched a discriminatory crackdown on Shia Muslims which, critics say, power that be launched on dictation from Saudi regime.

Ironically, under Saudi Wahhabi monarchy’s orders, their henchmen are filing false blasphemy cases against Shia Muslims.

Independent analysts have been drawing attention of incessant violation of constitutionally-guaranteed rights of Shia Muslim citizens of Pakistan.

Pakistan Bar Council and SCBA officials have expressed concern over selective and discriminatory policy of the government which targets Shia Muslims.

Surge in (false) blasphemy cases against Shia community also alarmed Human Rights Commission of Pakistan.
