Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi visits Imam Bargah Hussainabad in Multan today (Friday).

Qureshi praised Muharram is being observed with religious fervor with majalis and mourning processions being held.

Imam Bargah Hussainabad’s administration briefed him about the initiatives they have taken regarding Muharram-ul-Haram.

On this occasion, he offered dua for the progress and prosperity of the country.

Meanwhile, he spoke to the media where he paid tributes to Imam Hussain-led martyrs of Karbala.

He said the whole world acknowledged the Shahadat of Hazrat Imam Hussain (RA) and their role in survival of Islam.

The minister also hailed exemplary peace in country, particularly in Multan during Moharram (so far).

Shah Mahmood urged the citizens to cooperate with district administration and police so that Youm-e-Ashura also pass peacefully.

It is relevant to add here that takfiri fanatics have sabotaged peace in Pakistan for last many decades.

In particularly, they mislead and incite others through malicious hate speeches against Shia Muslims.

Shah Mahmmod Qureshi himself is a custodian of Shah Rukn-e-Alam.

Notably, ASWJ (Sipah Sahaba), mother wing of Lashkar-e-Jhangvi is mother of all terrorism in Pakistan. They perpetrated genocide against Shia Muslims and also bombed Sunni and Shia Islamic saints’ shrines all over Pakistan.
