Sistani’s Son Expresses Regret Over Missing Martyred Leader’s Funeral Prayer

Important Message from Ayatollah Sayyid Ali al-Sistani’s Son Regarding the Funeral of the Martyred Leader

Shiite News: Sayyid Muhammad Raza-al-Sistani, the son of Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Ali al-Sistani, has sent a message of condolence to the office of the martyred Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Sayyid Ali Khamenei.

The message stated: “It was the right of the martyred Leader that my father (Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Ali al-Sistani) personally lead his funeral prayers. However, his physical health does not permit him to leave his home, and therefore we sincerely apologize for being unable to do so.”

It was subsequently announced that Ayatollah Sayyid Muhammad Taqi al-Hakim will lead the funeral prayers over the blessed body of the martyred Leader.
