Trump Has Surrendered Before Iran, US Faces Major Defeat: Professor Marandi

Shiite News: Professor Seyed Mohammad Marandi, speaking in an interview with Al Mayadeen TV, said that the conditions agreed upon between Iran and the United States are highly favorable for Iran.

He stated that the United States has accepted the end of regional conflict, which was one of Iran’s key conditions. According to him, no agreement would have been possible without ending the war in Lebanon. He also claimed that the US agreed to postpone negotiations on Iran’s nuclear program to a later stage.

Professor Marandi further said that Iran’s control over the Strait of Hormuz is non-negotiable and cannot be part of any discussions. He added that the US wanted the Strait of Hormuz to return to normal operations, but Iran did not accept the demand.

He said the American negotiating team appeared to be in a hurry because the global economy is being rapidly affected, while the Iranian leadership is acting patiently to protect national interests. He also claimed that the Zionist lobby, Benjamin Netanyahu, and neoconservatives are deeply troubled by these developments.
