Tehran Friday prayers’ leader Ayatollah Mohammad Emami Kashani said that it is globally accepted that US plots in the region were defused by Iran’s war against terrorist groups in the two Arab countries.
Ayatollah Emami Kashani pointed to the significant role of Iran in the fight against terrorism, saying, “The whole world knows that Iran has defeated the US and its conspiracies in Iraq and Syria.”
He added that his compatriots have shown the US and its incompetent President Donald Trump that the people of Iran will never surrender to the challenges and conspiracies posed by others.
Delivering the Friday prayers’ sermon, the grand cleric referred to the recent remarks by Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei who warned that the US and “the Israeli regime” have been doing all in their power to advance their hostile campaign against the Iranian nation, calling for maximum unity in the face of the enemy’s maximum offensive.
Ayatollah Emami Kashani noted that the Islamic Republic and the Iranian nation have shown the US and its incompetent president that they will never surrender to the difficulties and conspiracies posed by others.
He also highlighted that the domestic issues, including the current economic challenges facing the country, should be addressed with maximum care so that they would be removed properly.
“The US wants to build a wall around Iran but Iran will not be isolated, and the world states, even the US allies and the EU, condemn the US. They want us to make political concessions in our missile program …(but) the country will not surrender and we should show the US to choose the right path,” President Rouhani said, addressing officials at the Northern province of Golestan.
He referred to the US failures in Syria, Iraq, Yemen and Palestine, and said, “They want to set Iran aside and take our position themselves but they will not succeed.”
“The US wants us not to be among the influential countries and they have tested this in several countries, including Yemen” but they failed.
