New Operational Plans Will Push US Warships Further Away from the Region: Iranian Army Spokesman
Shiite News: Spokesman of the Islamic Republic of Iran’s Army, Brigadier General Mohammad Akrami Nia, has said that the Iranian armed forces possess new operational plans that will force American warships to retreat further away from the region in the coming days.
He said that despite the US President’s claims of controlling the Strait of Hormuz, American forces do not dare to approach the Strait of Hormuz. Due to the capabilities of the Iranian armed forces and their intelligence and operational superiority, American warships are forced to remain at a distance of more than 500 kilometers from the Iranian coast, and at present, no American warship is present in the Sea of Oman.
The Iranian Army spokesman also rejected the US President’s claim that Iran’s defense has been weakened, and said that a significant portion of the air defense equipment affected in the US-Zionist imposed war has been repaired and reactivated, new systems have been added, and modern and joint air defense operations have been practiced, which has made the country’s air defense capability far stronger than before.

Brigadier General Akrami Nia said that ships wishing to pass through the Strait of Hormuz should coordinate with the Iranian armed forces before entry so that they can pass safely, while America is forcing ships to pass through an illegal and unsafe route south of the Strait of Hormuz. He urged the countries of the region to establish a joint mechanism for the withdrawal of American forces, because sustainable peace is only possible with the end of American presence and intervention in the region. On the other hand, according to the Iranian Navy, on Friday, another violating oil tanker that attempted to pass through the prohibited area of the Sea of Oman east of the Strait of Hormuz with its tracking system turned off caught fire.
