Funeral Procession Details Announced for Martyr Leader Ayatollah Sayyid Ali Hosseini Khamenei

Shiite News: The Funeral Committee for the Martyr Leader, Ayatollah Sayyid Ali Hosseini Khamenei, has issued Announcement No. 3 regarding the funeral ceremonies.

The committee extended condolences to the Muslim world, the loyal people of Iran, and all freedom-loving nations, paying tribute to the Martyr Leader’s lifetime dedication to truth, the defense of Islam, service to the people, and guidance of the Muslim Ummah.

According to the announcement, the funeral prayer, procession, and burial ceremonies for the Martyr Leader and his family members—Dr. Misbah al-Huda Baqeri Kani, Sayyida Bushra Hosseini Khamenei, Zahra Haddad Adel, and Zahra Mohammadi Golpayegani—will be held as follows:

• 13–14 Tir 1405 (19–20 Muharram): Public farewell ceremony at Imam Khomeini Mosalla in Tehran.
• 15 Tir 1405 (21 Muharram): Funeral procession in Tehran.
• 16 Tir 1405 (22 Muharram): Funeral procession in Qom.
• 18 Tir 1405 (24 Muharram, the eve of the martyrdom anniversary of Ali ibn Husayn Zayn al-Abidin): Funeral procession in Mashhad and burial at the holy shrine of Ali al-Ridha.

The committee invited the public to participate in large numbers in these ceremonies and bid farewell to the Martyr Leader. It also expressed gratitude to the responsible institutions and public groups for their preparations, emphasizing that the people themselves will play the central role in the events.
