Sheikh Mirza Al-Mahrous Starts Open Hunger Strike in Jaw Prison

Alyaa Radhi, wife of opposition leader Sheikh Ali Salman who is detained in Jaw prison, said that Sheikh Mirza Al-Mahrous (one of the detained figures in Jaw prison) has started an open hunger strike.

Radhi explained on her Twitter account on Thursday (November 3, 2016) that Al-Mahrous has launched the hunger strike protesting against being banned by the Jaw’s prison administration from visiting his aunt in the intensive care unit.
