Crackdown on Shia Clerics and Religious Institutions in Bahrain Raises Concern

Recent restrictions on religious endowments, processions, external loudspeakers at religious gathering places, and the pilgrimage travel of certain religious figures have further heightened concerns. The writer stressed that these restrictions should be viewed within the broader context, arguing that continued action against peaceful religious activities constitutes a violation of human rights.
