15th anniversary of Mehram Ali’s martyrdom held across Pakistan

mehram aliShia Muslims of Pakistan observed Sunday August 11, 2013 as the day of mourning and anger to express their opposition to the judicial murder of great martyr Mehram Ali.
On August 11, 1998 Mehram Ali, a modest Shia youth was wrongly punished for the death of a takfiri nasbi terrorist who was then chief of outlawed terrorist group Sipah-e-Sahaba who publicly claimed responsibility for the genocide of Shia Muslims in Pakistan and carried out pogrom of Shia Muslims.

Ignoring the fact that the deceased Zia ur Rehman Farooqi was a terrorists and he deserved death penalty by the courts of law for his overt and publicly claiming responsibility of Shia Muslims pogrom, the court wrongly punished Mehram Ali for Zia Farooqi’s death.

It was a great injustice done to Shiites that the terrorist and his terrorist group went unpunished for his clear violation of inalienable rights of Shia Muslims and the person who defended Shiites rights was wrongly punished.

Shia Muslims across Pakistan held 15th anniversary of Mehram Ali’s martyrdom with reverence.
