Hike in electricity tariff, an anti-people initiative of govt, Senator Nasir Abbas

Shiite News: In his statement released on the social networking website X, Chairman Majlis Wahdat Muslimeen Pakistan, Senator Allama Raja Nasir Abbas Jafri said that the increase in electricity prices is an anti-people move of the government.

The reward for not getting a mandate in the elections is being paid by increasing the economic difficulties of the people. What the government started with the practice of abusing the people has turned into the worst atrocity.

The imposed politicians who promised free electricity up to 200 units to the people and declared it as part of their election manifesto, today they are brazenly increasing the electricity prices.

Those who deliberately make the lives of the people of Pakistan difficult are the enemies of this country and nation.

Majlis Wahdat Muslimeen strongly rejects this hike in electricity prices and warns the government to withdraw this decision to avoid public outrage.
