Farooq Sattar expresses solidarity with Shia families on missing persons issue
Senior politician Dr Farooq Sattar expressed solidarity with families of Shia missing persons as he visited the sit-in protest venue in Karachi.
Farooq Sattar said Shia Muslim community is patriot community that played leading role in founding Pakistan.
He told the protesters that he would stand by them in their legitimate demand for release of innocent Shia Muslims. He said that Shia Muslim community is patriot community that played leading role in founding Pakistan.
Farooq Sattar lamented enforced disappearance of 200 of his comrades. He said that is why he understands the grievances of the affected Shia families as well.
He noted difference between the forces of oppression and the oppressed Shia community that Shias don’t go against Pakistan despite such sort of injustices.

Veteran Karachi-based politician had been expressing symbolic solidarity with the affected Shia families.
However, Shia Muslims have been expresing dismay and dissatisfcation over the role of politicians, political parties and human rights bodies.
Because, they all failed to play their needed role for end to Shia killing, enforced disappearance and biased witch-hunt.
