Organisation of prayer leaders at mosques and Shia scholars (Haiyat-e-Aimma Masjid wa Ulema-e-Imamia) has vowed to defend the sanctity of the infallible Prophet of Islam, come what may.
Addressing a press conference at Aza Khana-e-Zehra (AS) in Karachi yesterday, they made clear they would not tolerate any sort of blasphemy against Hazrat Mohammad (PBUH), the last apostle of God and Prophet of Islam and humanity.

“We’ll sacrifice our lives for the sake of Holy Prophet of Islam and humanity, the last apostle of God, if needed but we’ll never tolerate desecration of the sacred and infallible personality of Hazrat Mohammad,” Allama Hassan Salahuddin, senior cleric and chief of the Haiyat told the media.
Allama Baqir Hussain Zaidi, Allama Abbas Kumaili and other senior scholars also accompanied him. They expressed their solidarity with all Muslims who registered their protest against the planned blasphemous cartoons contest in Holland. They condemned Dutch Geert Wilders for his repeated efforts to affront Muslims and Islam by provocative blasphemous comments and acts. However, Wilders had cancelled the blasphemous contest after worldwide opposition to his move.
