Pakistan and US have to work together for regional peace, says FM Qureshi

The Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi on Thursday said that Pakistan and United States have to work together to achieve peace and stability in the region.

Talking to media in Multan, Qureshi said that he is expecting a meeting with the US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo during his visit to the South Asia region in the first week of September.
He said: We would listen to their point of view and would try to understand what the US’ expects from us, he said adding that, “I would also convey our expectations to them.”
The minister Pakistan and the US have to work together to achieve peace and stability in the region. “Neither Pakistan nor the US can achieve this on their own,” he added.
