Shia party of MMA also cast doubts over transparency of Elections 2018

Islami Tehreek Pakistan Punjab chapter president Allama Sibtain Sabzwari who is also vice president of Muttahida Majlis-e-Amal (MMA) has said that huge electoral frauds and irregularities in Elections 2018 put a big question mark on transparency of the entire democratic process. 
Talking to various delegates at his Lahore office, he said, Election Commission of Pakistan failed in its duties. He said that banned sectarian terrorist outfits ringleaders were allowed to contest elections that was part of a deep-rooted conspiracy and whole nation would have to face consequences of that plot in the days to come.
He said that their party chief Allama Sajid Naqvi has never compromised principles and they all remain stick to their belief that democracy is better than martial law and would continue to stand by democratic forces. 
“We successfully countered dictatorial policies of the chief martial law administrator General Ziaul Haq and since then we continue to play our role in political scene of the country,” he said, adding that their struggle is for just Islamic system and they would continue to work for unity among Muslims as well.
