Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen candidate in election for Balochistan Assembly seat from Quetta PB-27, Syed Mohammad Raza also known as Agha Raza, has blamed rival Hazara Democratic Party (HDP) of increasing its 2,500 votes to 7,685 votes through midnight gerrymandering.

Addressing a press conference at the Quetta Press Club, he said, MWM polling agents were expelled from the polling stations and HDP’s agents were allowed to remain inside.
“The HDP councilor Bostan Kashmand was allowed visits and remained inside polling stations,” Agha Raza said, adding that he HDP’s Bostan was seen there even at 3 a.m. He said that the votes polled in favour of MWM’s contestants from PB-26 and 27 (himself) were also missing.
He said HDP also rigged elections in 2013 and got 3500 bogus votes but in 2018 they crossed all limits and did unmatched massive electoral frauds. He said he would initiate legal process to seek justice. He said votes should be checked through biometric system and fingerprints should also be checked.
