Two terror plots foiled as 6 terrorists of banned outfits arrested

Sindh Police Counterterrorism Department foiled terror threat by arresting three target killers belonging to banned (Deobandi takfiri terrorist) outfit in Ittehad Town in Karachi yesterday.

CTD sources said that arms and ammunition were seized from the possession of these three arrested terrorists.
Frontier Corps personnel conducted intelligence-based operations in Chaman, Dera Bugti and Sui areas of Balochistan and averted major bids of terrorism on the eve of elections, sources within the said.
Three terrorists with links to banned outfits were arrested during the operations.
The FC also recovered RPG-7 rockets, hand grenades, a prepared improvised explosive device and other arms and ammunition in the process.
