Sunni party chief lambastes banned Deobandi parties alliance under Sami

Jamiat Ulema-e-Pakistan chief Pir Masoom Hussain Naqvi has turned down the plots aimed at mainstreaming of banned terrorist outfits by agencies.

“The plot to form an electoral alliance under father of Taliban Samiul Haq is tantamount to betrayal of sacred blood of martyrs of Pakistan,” he said.
Pir Masoom further said that renaming of the banned terrorist outfits and efforts to mainstream them is a conspiracy against national security and the entire political system that must be thwarted at all cost.
He said that banned terrorist outfits must not be allowed to participate in elections under any name or under any alliance or adjustment and Election Commission must foil their attempts to sneak into political system.
