Suicide blast outside Iranian Consulate in Peshawar leaves 2 dead

A suicide blast of Saudi funded Takfiri Taliban / SipaheSahaba terrorists targeting a Frontier Corps (FC) checkpost outside the Iranian consulate on University Road left two FC officials martyred and nine injured on Monday.

SP Ahsanullah confirmed that the blast was suicidal in nature and stated that after the bomber was stopped from entering the checkpost in his car, he triggered the bomb.
Security officials have cordoned off the area in efforts to carry out an investigation and the police have seized the car that allegedly belonged to the individual. The prime target of the Saudi funded Takfiri terrorist was the Iranian Consulate but he had not succeded in his aim because of the FC post.
The injured are being taken to Khyber Teaching Hospital.
The blast was followed by firing by the security guards of the Iranian consulate.
