Martyrdom anniversary of Imam Hassan Askari (AS) being observed across Pakistan

Shia Muslims are mourning in commemoration of the martyrdom of Hazrat Imam Hassan Askari, 11th infallible Imam in all over Pakistan on Friday.
Clad in black suits, Shiites beat their chest and recite nohas to pay homage to the martyr Imam (AS).

Main congregations and processions in Karachi are being held in different areas. The sun rose with the mourning congregation at Nishtar Park and a mourning procession began marching on M A Jinnah Road. The procession was culminated at Hussainia Iranian Kharadar.

Another main procession is being brought about from Qasr-e-Musayyab Rizvia Society where a mourning congregation was held after Friday prayers. The procession will culminate at Imam Bargah Shah-e-Najaf Martin Road.

A Majlis-e-aza (mourning congregation) was held at Masjid-e-Khair-ul-Amal Incholi and the procession began.

Similar procession is being taken out in Jafar-e-Tayyar Society Malir and some other areas.

In Thatta, Bhit Shah, Hyderabad, Matli, Badin, Larkana, Khairpur, Sukkur, Kandh Kot, Mirpurkhas, Sanghar, Sakrand, Nawabshah, Dadu and other parts of Sindh province, and in all small towns and big cities of Punjab, Khyber-Pukhtoonkhwa, Baluchistan and Gilgit-Baltistan, provinces of Pakistan, and in Parachinar of the FATA, anniversary of martyrdom of Hazrat Imam Hassan Askari (AS) is being observed with religious reverence.
