MWM delegation calls on Federal Minister Syed Khursheed Shah

A delegation of Majlis Wahdat Muslameen (MWM) led by MWM Deputy Sectary General Alama Ameen Shahidi meets the Federal Minister for religious affairs “Syed Khurshid Shah†here on late Monday night in Islamabad.
The MWM delegation briefly discussed with the minister and presented him many proposals for unity among different
sects and religions in the country.
The Minister appreciated the suggestion and informed the delegation that the government has already aware of the situation and willing to take the positive steps in this regard because the unity of different sects and religions in Pakistan is necessary for the prosperity and solidarity of the country.
Khurshid Shah also told the delegation that government intend to arrange county level conference on unity issue among the different sects on this occasion all the participants strongly condemn the act of desecration of Holy Quran by an American priest.
Senior Shia Cleric Maulana Mirza Yousaf Hussain, Allama Alam Shah Mousvi from Sukkur, MWM Central Political
Secray Mr Ali Osat Rizvi and Mr Syed Ijaz Hussain Rizvi were also present on the occasion.
