Saudi proxy ASWJ to contest elections despite ban
The banned Deobandi takfiri terrorist group ASWJ (Sipah-e-Sahaba) that is a Saudi proxy in Pakistan, all sets to contest general elections under its renamed version Pakistan Rah-e-Haq Party (PRP). Under the Pakistani laws, no banned terrorist outfit can continue any sort of activity even after it is renamed but this darling of the Saudi monarchy has always been allowed and patronized to enjoy freedom of all sorts.
Notorious ringleader of this banned terrorist group Azam Tariq was allowed to become Member of Parliament while he was put behind the bars during tenure of military ruler Pervez Musharraf. Banned ASWJ (Sipah-e-Sahaba) ringleaders are invited as guests at the Presidency and other power corridors.
Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz has a record of accommodating its ringleaders by forming alliance, electoral adjustments or embracing their terrorists in the PMLN. Deobandi parties JUI’s Fazalur Rehman and Samiul Haq groups may have differences over many issues but they have no difference on hugging the ASWJ terrorists as the former too welcomed the ASWJ ringleaders in his JUI-F and Sami is its ally in DPC, an alliance that has banned militant organizations.
Since many politicians and Deobandi clerics are under the influence of the Saudi monarchy, they cannot afford to distance them from banned ASWJ, the darling of the Saudi monarchy due to its takfiri ideology that publicly declares founder of Pakistan Mohammad Ali Jinnah as heathen.
US-led Western bloc too has no problem because of banned ASWJ’s Saudi connection. The Western governments issue empty statements against terrorism and do nothing more than superficial listing and sanctioning that never apply in letter and spirit.
