Bibi Fatima a role model that a just society needs, says Allama Ahmed Iqbal

Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen deputy secretary general and renowned religious scholar Allama Syed Ahmed Iqbal Rizvi has said that Hazrat Bibi Fatima is a role model and ideal infallible and pious woman that is indispensable for a just society.

Addressing a mourning/praying congregation on the martyrdom anniversary of Hazrat Fatima under the aegis of MWM and Dua Committee in Karachi Soldier Bazaar, he said, Bibi Fatima is leader of women in paradise. He said her sacred life and struggle made her ideal and role model and she became a symbol of struggle for justice in society.
“Bibi Fatima demonstrated unmatched patience and struggled for inalienable rights of oppressed people,” he said, adding that she brought up children such as Imam Hassan (AS), Imam Hussain, Bibi Zainab (AS), Bibi Umme Kulsum (AS) who too have become prominent figures of history of struggle against tyranny and despotism.
He expressed hope Ayyam-e-Fatimiyyah would also be commemorated like Ashura and Moharram in Pakistan, as well.
