Known scholar Sadiq Jafari elected MWM Karachi secretary general

Maulana Sadiq Jafari, a known religious scholar, has been elected secretary general of Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen, Karachi chapter. He was elected by Divisional Shoora of MWM Karachi who met at Imam Bargah Fatima Zahra (AS).

Allama Maqsood Domki, MWM Sindh chapter secretary general, presided over the meeting of the Divisional Shoora of MWM Karachi where the members of the Shoora voted for Maulana Sadiq Jafari.
Later, Allama Syed Ahmed Iqbal Rizvi, central deputy secretary general, MWM, administered oath to Mr. Jafari.
The top post of the MWM Karachi chapter fell vacant due to resignation of Jafari’s predecessor Meesam Abidi.
