Deobandi terrorists planning attacks in Punjab, threat alert issued

Notorious Deobandi takfiri terrorists of Taliban are planning attacks on administrative areas, educational institutions and hospitals in Punjab province, according to a threat alert issued to relevant officials.

The terrorists formerly belonged to Khalid Sajna group of Taliban. They were observed undergoing training in Afghanistan for such attacks.
The IG Police of Punjab, top officials Intelligence Bureau, CTD, of health and educational departments and administrative officials were issued the threat alert. They were asked to ensure extreme vigilance and heightened security measures and other special measures at all levels to avert the threat.
Pakistan has fallen victims to the Deobandi terrorism being perpetrated by banned Deobandi militant outfits all over Pakistan.
