Pro-Saudi Pakistani anchor defends US policy on Jerusalem

Ahmed Qureshi, a pro-Saudi anchor person at the Saudi-funded private Pakistani news channel, has defended the US administration policy on the occupied Jerusalem despite the recognition of Jerusalem as Israel’s capital by the President Donald Trump.

Qureshi tried to hoodwink Pakistanis by defending Trump policy on Jerusalem despite the fact that it is in violation of international law and turned down by international community, let alone Palestinians, Arabs or Muslims.
He said that the matter was not as it is being portrayed in Pakistan or in the Arab/Muslim world. He showed the translated version of a statement of the US ambassador in which he said that US admits Palestinian right over Jerusalem that was in fact had no substance since Jerusalem is eternal capital of Palestine but US government announced its unilateral decision in favour of illegitimate state of Israel by recognizing occupied Jerusalem as Israel’s capital. International law declares Jerusalem an international territory that too doesn’t recognize any Israeli claim on the sacred land of Jerusalem (Beit al Mqdas).
It is strange that Neo TV channel is run by people loyal to Jamaat-e-Islami and Islami Jamiat Talba who on the one hand oppose the Trump policy and at the same time, they have allowed Ahmed Qureshi to speak pro-Zionist and anti-Muslim, anti-Arab lies to deceive viewers.
