Pakistan attends inaugural ceremony of first phase of Chabahar port
Federal Minister for Ports and Shipping Mir Hasil Bizenjo represented Pakistan at the inaugural ceremony of the first phase of the Shaheed Behishti Port at Chabahar on an invitation and insistence of Iranian government that was a clear message to the anti-Pakistan and anti-Iran lobbies.
Pakistani Minister was given prominence as he was standing next to Iranian President Hassan Rouhani at the stage of the inaugural ceremony on December 3. This event marked the death of the enemies of friendship between Pakistan and Iran.
Tehran-based Iranian government and its ambassador to Pakistan Mehdi Honardoost have invited Pakistan to invest in the Chabahar port and also called for enhanced bilateral trade.
The enemies of the two countries and of their bilateral ties had been disseminating false news of the cold war between the two friendly and brotherly neighbouring countries but Iranian government proved by its actions that they attach importance to relations with Pakistan.
