Allama Raja Nasir back demand of Qadri for resignations of Rana Sanaullah, Shahbaz

Opposition parties’ leaders including PMLQ chief Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain and Allama Raja Nasir Abbas Jafari of MWM who met Dr Tahirul Qadri in Lahore announced their support to his demand for resignations of Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif and Law Minister Rana Sanaullah to face trial in Model Town massacre case.

At a joint press conference, aforesaid leaders and ex-Chief Minister Punjab Chaudhry Pervaiz Ilahi addressed a joint press conference where they expressed their views of Justice Baqir Najafi report on the Lahore Model Town massacre and their course of action.
Qadri said that despite the plots of the Punjab government, Najafi Report was made public and it proved there was nexus of PMLN central government led by Nawaz Sharif who posted Mushtaq Sukhera two days before Model Town massacre in Punjab as IG Police. He said that Rana Sanaullah was assigned to head the operation and Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif had not stopped them from massacre. Hence, he demanded trial of said top officials of the Punjab government and for that they have to resign from their government positions.
Allama Raja Nasir Abbas Jafari, chief Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen, and former Prime Minister Chaudhry Shujaat said that they would support whatever call is given by Qadri to seek justice in the Model Town case. They expressed solidarity with the victims of the tragedy and vowed to stand by them against the oppressors.
