Nasir Shirazi issue raised in Punjab Assembly by Opposition Leader

Leader of the Opposition Mehmoodur Rasheed has raised the issue of kidnapping of MWM leader Nasir Shirazi through a calling attention notice he has filed in the Punjab Assembly.

Mehmoodur Rasheed who hails from the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf has expressed concern over the mysterious abduction of Syed Nasir Abbas Shirazi advocate and asked Punjab government to clarify its position on the issue.
He has asked in his calling attention notice what measures have been taken so far by the Punjab government for Nasir Shirazi’s recovery.
Nasir Shirazi was whisked away by the cops in plainclothes on November 1 from Lahore Wapda Town and since then he was subjected to enforced disappearance. He had filed a petition in the Lahore High Court to seek disqualification of Punjab Law Minister Rana Sanaullah.
