Countrywide protest rallies mark solidarity with missing Nasir Shirazi

The supporters of Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen (MWM) and Imamia Students Organisation (ISO) staged rallies across Pakistan to mark their support and solidarity with Nasir Shirazi, deputy secretary general of the MWM against his kidnapping under a government-hatched conspiracy.

The MWM supporters staged main rallies in Karachi outside Jamey Masjid Noor-e-Eeman in Nazimabad and Jamey Masjid Darbar-e-Hussaini. Allama Ahmed Iqbal and other leaders spoke at these rallies. The ISO supporters’ main rally was staged in Lahore.
MWM Dera Ismail Khan Chapter set up a camp of protest where they registered their protest against the kidnapping of Nasir Shirazi. The protesters asked the Chief Justice of Pakistan and Chief Justice of Lahore High Court to take suo motu action against the biased Punjab government whose law minister hurled abusive and malicious biased remarks against a respectable Judge of superior judiciary also.
Former Deputy Speaker National Assembly and a leader of Pakistan People’s Party Faisal Karim Khan Kundi visited the camp of protest at Kotli Imam Hussain (AS). He met with MWM leadersMaulana Ghazanfar Taqvi, Syed Asad Ali Zaidi, and Syed Tahwar Abbas Bukahri. PPP DI Khan leaders Syed Sajjad Shirazi and Akhunzada Sakhi Marjan also accompanied Kundi. They support the legitimate demand of the protesters for release of Nasir Shirazi.
