PEMRA chief takes action against Bol News for its program in favour of Parachinar

Biased chief of Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (PEMRA) has taken side of the terrorists by sending a letter to Bol News channel over airing a programme in favour of victims of terrorism in Parachinar in which two eminent Shia scholars had condemned the terrorists and trigger-happy cops.

It is relevant to add here that Allama Hassan Zafar Naqvi and Allama Sadiq Taqvi had demanded removal of the trigger-happy Colonel Umar for ordering the FC cops to fire upon the peaceful people of Parachinar while they were protesting against the twin blasts in Parachinar that left more than 100 Shia Muslims dead and around 200 injured.
Not to forget the fact that Chief of the Army Staff had ordered his removal when he visited Parachinar and also announced separate compensation from the Army to the victims of FC personnel’s firing. That was a clear message that the victims were innocent and action was taken against the involved Colonel Umar.
Ignoring this fact deliberately, biased PEMRA Chief Absar Alam mentioned in the letter that two scholars Allama Hassan Zafar Naqvi and Allama Sadiq Taqvi spoke against a serving officer of army. This reference itself is against the fact because the army chief had already taken action against the serving officer. PEMRA is nobody to become judge and pronounced verdict in such cases that have been decided by the head of relevant institution.
Bol News has been issued letter in which it was accused of spreading sectarianism and hate materials against army and PEMRA. Absar alam should clarify his position why eminent Shia scholars have not been mentioned with respectful titles such as Maulana or Allama? What is his reaction to airing of the programs of banned terrorist outfits rallies and their ringleaders? Why Abdul Aziz of Lal Masjid was allowed to be aired despite the fact he spoke against armed forces? Why PEMRA called him Maulana despite his pro-terrorism stance?
Why he has not issued directives for a ban on the Saudi Wisal TV channel in Pakistan despite the fact that the channel was airing programmes of sectarian hatred and also aired programs of banned terrorist outfits?
