Shia Ulema Council chief Allama Syed Sajid Ali Naqvi has said that takfiris were defeated and isolated through the power of patience instead of retaliation.

“Enemies tried to implicate us in sectarianism. We were in a position to give them a tit-for-tat response but we refrained from it due to the sacred teachings of infallible leaders of Shia Islam,” he said speaking at the Chehlum congregation of Allama Mushtaq Hamdani, an eminent leader of SUC who died earlier.
He said that Allama Syed Mushtaq Hussain Hamdani founded seminary for female students because females being the mothers transfer education and knowledge to future generations.
Allama Naqvi said that educating women was tantamount to educating entire family and society.
He said Shia Muslims are integral part of Pakistan but sectarianism was plotted to implicate Shiites in it in a bid to divert them from their true path of infallible leaders of Shia Islam.
Allama Arif Wahidi, Allama Sibtain Sabzwari, Allama Ramzan Tauqeer, Allama Shabbir Meesami, Allama Asad Iqbal Zaidi, Allama Shahenshah Naqvi and others also spoke.
