Deobandi clerics silent on JUIF strike over Mastung blast

Deobandi party JUIF is observing a general strike on Saturday over the Mastung attack on a call from its chief Fazalur Rehman but almost all Deobandi clerics such as Mufti Naeem who had been opposing Shia parties protest on the pretext that people suffer due to protest, are tightlipped and say not a single word against the strike today.

Shia parties MWM and SUC have condemned the attack and expressed sympathy with Deobandi cleric Abdul Ghafoor Haideri and have not opposed their protest and call for strike but it is surprising that all those Deobandis and Wahhabis remain silent on the JUIF’s protest and strike as if people would not suffer due to Deobandis protest and strike.
As per reports, JUI-F workers are protesting across Balochistan over the attack targeting a JUI-F event.
Even JUIF leader Fazalur Rehman had opposed the Shia protest against the massacre of innocent Shia (Hazara) Muslims. But, Shia Muslims don’t reciprocate him in his own style. Shia condemns terrorism and not the victims of terrorism.
At least 27 people lost their lives while over 30 others, including JUI-F’s Deputy Chairman Senate of Pakistan Abdul Ghafoor Haideri, were injured on Friday in a blast — later reported to be a suicide attack — in Mastung area of Balochistan, officials said.
The deputy chairman Senate is undergoing treatment at the Combined Military Hospital (CMH) in Quetta.
Meanwhile, police also registered an FIR over the incident, terming the blast a suicide attack.
The blast was very powerful, said Haideri, adding that though he is not seriously hurt, he is deeply saddened by the deaths which had taken place.
